Fashion Week Sneeze

Just returned from a trip to London then Paris, got so much done in the past few days, including over spending on fabric, trying out boyfriend jeans and visiting the amazing flea market or Les Puces de Saint-Ouen.

l shall be showing my favourite snaps from Paris and PFW over the next few days.

Last post... August, Wow, I know thats bad.   I mentioned this in other posts but I've been ridiculously busy, I basically worked the rest of my summer, moved out, moved in ( Hello quayside pad) and started uni, so pretty major stufff. I've missed some great stuff off here so I guess now I can spend some of my spare time getting up to date.

I Wanna show you the shirt I have just finished from my first project, the breif was to make a shirt from other two small circles of fabric or one large one.

I wanted my shirt to expose the back, I also originally wanted cut-away shoulders however decided this would be too much.

The back had a stepped hem, I like it when garments have longer backs, even if just slightly noticable.

I'm obsessed with collars and after seeing a crisp white shirt with a double collar from YSL I wanted to include one too.

My finished garment, in calico.
The striped fabric shoes where I would add my own print too it if I had the chance.

We didn't get a chance to mke the shirts out of white cotton, as planned, I would loved to have seen it ina  fabric of my choice so when I get the chance I may even make it again for myself!

What fabric would you make it out of again if you had the choice?

Let me know your thoughts :)

Ama Zebra (neon one)

First of all, im just gonna say my life has had a lack of routine lately and I crave it so much! Summer has been working and constant moving so I'm so happy to say that on Wednesday I'll be moving in with my boyfriend to the flat that will be our home for the next four years I'm at uni, and oh my god it's gonna be unreal I can't wait to show photos ( finally I can let my creativity loose with something else other than clothes)!

Also I've realised I talk to much on here, and it makes my posts far too long and unintersting, I'm a visual person, and all I wanna give you guys is good visuals without  too much rambling on. So...

Hawaiian Time

Cup of tea in hand, chocolate at the ready. I'm ready to get back to my blogging. At the minute I'm looking towards autum/winter trends. Already, yes, where was our summer? I'm not quite sure, we had half a one in february then I had a holiday so i suppose I was luckier than some.

This is one of my favourite day looks when you can get a little bit of sun. White white white and hawaiian prints.  I have seen a lot this season but I'm not usually a fan, however this crisp cotton shirt dress from ASOS ticked all the boxes for me, I usually prefer these prints in menswear, I have had my eye a pair of hawaiian vans lately, very nice.

I love sharp collars.
Just a quick post today... details of my full look below:

My full outfit:
Shoes: Topshop
Dress: ASOS
Linen Blazer: Primark
Bag: Mulberry

Thats all for now, Im getting back to my magazines A/W looking up ;) need to start shortening my posts or I give myself too much work, sorry guys ;)

Cannes day 2

First of all, I know that my posts take a while but I guess you will have to get used to it, I can't get into a regular routine until I am in my new flat!(woo) I have a lot to get sorted for it moving twin in a few months!

A couple more shots of the palais and the main square in Cannes

This is the day of the yellow dress! The first time I saw this dress on
Www.threefloorfashion.com I coveted it so much.

It's made from neoprene, it's so thick, I love the spongey feel of the material!

I love the flare, it's such a good cut and I can say I am definitely a loyal follower of the threefloorfashion label, the prices are really reasonable or the quality of the dress is amazing for it.

And obviously the colour, I could buy one of everything in neon yellow.

The back is so flattering, I don't hae one dress with a feature back so it was needed!

My full outfit
Dress:threefloorfashion
Shoes:Kurt geiger
Shirt:Hnm
Bag:primark

Just a short one today, last holiday post up next!

Cannes: Day 1

Yess it's Cannes time, I have got to see this is by far my most favourite place I have been to yet, i'ts gorgeous, the weather was perfect, the street style is very much a lot of crisp white and ZARA, so can't go wrong there. Yeah its a beautiful place. I was a little bit worried it was going to be like higher end blackpool beach vibe going on on the front, but it was far from it!

The Carlton

The first night we arrived quite late and had already ate so as we weren't hungry we went out for a walk and an explore along the front, the walk on La Croisette was lit up and the place was buzzing!
The next morning..

This was a Sunday, shops were closed however a amazing Vintage market was on near the front, I would honestly go back just to visit the market again, it was like another world seeing geniune vintage Chanel bags on market tables, along with Louis Vuitton, Hermes scarfs, and an unimaginable amount of jewellery, I spied some Chanel earrings for 90 euros, the cheapest as they were small plastic hearts with the interlocking C logo.. I resisted tempation ;) I'm sure the price was OK but they weren't really my style...
La Croisette
I Picked up these nude leather (vintage) shorts from that retro shop in London, Retro Woman, I mentioned in my London Post below here

My full outfit:
Top:Primark £6, I think, steal...
Leather Shorts: Retro Woman
Sunglasses: ASOS
Plastic Tote: £6, Primark too, MAJOR holiday steal
Shoes: Bloch at TKmaxx

A note, plastic totes are everywhere this summer, I seen myself coveting Anya Hindmarchs £300 plastic bags... things are really put into perspective when you find one in Primark for £6, in my favourite shade, after all its a plastic bag, probably costs about 6p to make.
I love the plastic shiny metallic stage fashion is moving through atm, and these bags are just THE perfect holiday/any day summer bag, durable, doesnt matter if it gets sand in, wipe clean, oversized, what more could you ask for for your perfect carry all?

looked too yummy
You know what, I love food so much, I might turn my fashion blog into a Fashion, foodie,er fusion... what do you think? I have so many pictures on food on Instagram I don't upload here, and hey I'm basically the most frequent 18 yr old restaurant go-er in Newcastle.
Rue d'Antibes, my favourite street <3
After the market we went for a cocktail along the front, later that night we went for Italians yum.. It was even a challenge finding a restaurant open on a Sunday! The same with Monday to be honest, the French certainly know how to seriously take a day off, or two ( it's mental how things close for lunch I think also, wtf?!)

So a couple more posts to come on the rest of my short break,

Aslo, your thoughts on my fashion foodie blog? Go :)

London

As per I am posting a ridiculously late post, I've been away and my internet has been moved to my new house ( I disovered personal hotspot on my iPhone which is how i'm writing this, wow)  I'm sorry x1000 though. I had no time to do a London post (outfit is at the bottom of page) which must be done before Cannes so this is what I am doing now :) We got the train at 5.15 am or something ridiculous like that, it killed me getting up! By half 8 we were at kingscross.. soo this is my first time in London and the first thing we did was get the tube to Portobello Road, and visit the market.

There was a lot of silver ware i'm not so much interested in.. a lot of expensive fur and some cute leather bags!  The best part was finding a vintage shop on Portobello Road called Retro Woman I think, which I nabbed some Clemency nude leather shorts from, (you will see these soon ;) for just £25! It had an amazing selection of desinger shoes but random sizes!

vintage suitcases!
The colourful houses on Portobello Road.. too cute

 cute graffiti art..
this hotel looked like it was from another world..

We headed to Oxford circus after that, all the main shops, Topshop, Cos, then down Bond st. & Regent st. Burberry etc ( my love for this Spring/Summer artisan Trenches grew, and bags!) After that we got the tube to the river and walked a long to the Palace! Then back to Oxford, and Knigstbridge and visited Selfridges Harrods, (harrods esculators, wow - but my favourite bit HAD to be the food hall <3) we got loads done, I'd love to go back and visit Covet Garden and Dover St next time.

Even though it was early may, and it should be a few degrees warmer down south, the weather was.. cold. I layered a lot because I had no idea what it would be like, oh yeah, i got my hair fixed too, dip dye now!

My full outfit:
Shoes: bloch at tkmaxx
Tights: house of holland at tkmaxx
Skirt: Topshop Sale
Peter pan shirt: French connection (uniform)
Blue Blazer: H&M
Sleeveless Jacket: Romwe
Bag: Mulberry

I love this shirt, its so easy to put with everything in my wardrobe, jeans, skirts, pants! Also this is a new jacket I seen on Romwe which I waited so long for ^.^ its half black and half white which I find so cool haha, its easy to throw over things when you need to bring an outfit together, people often think the sleeves are part of it, i usually wear it over this, a shirt or the grey sweatshirt it my last post works really well!

Ill get working on uploading all my pictures from Cannes, don't forget to leave all your blogs on the comments I love looking through them!
