Lilac jeans

Well this is the last time you will see me with silver/white hair, I've had a disaster with a hairdresser and now it is basically a yellow/white colour with orange roots and striped lowlights on top (lush) anyhoo its getting fixed tomorrow...

So these are my Lilac true religeon jeans! I was lucky to get them for free from work,So yeah they are major steal... they are so tight, they are like leggings, they are very stretchy though! Hopefully these jeans can take me into summer, since the weather is so awful! ( get me on holiday now- less than two weeks to go).

I got these high tops from asos, in one of my favourite shades, mint ;). I'd been after some trainers for a while, originally I wanted nude leather ones, not necessarily high tops,( I soon discovered these did not exist, or for a reasonable price anyways) but when I was browsing through asos and seen these I ( obviously) could not resist.

I'm wearingy jeans with this sweat top, it has quite subtle bluey/green panels on the neckline and shoulder which are nice, I like to dress this jumper up, I'm definitely a fan of the sportswear vibe which is channeling through fashion ATM.

My full outfit
Jumper: diesel from tkmaxx
Jeans:True religion
Hi-tops: asos

Wearing these jeans with hitops gives then a completely different look,( especially mint ones) it looks a lot more trend based... so far I think my favourite is just nude pumps, I'd like to try them with some cute heels too.

After a bit more wear, I think these jeans are soon to be my new favourite pair for summer, have you got your favourite pair?  What's your favourite item to pair with jeans, have you invested in any coloured jeans?

Lots coming up, like I say I'm Off on holiday in about 11 days.. And I'm visiting London for the first time( yes first I know) on Saturday!

Dont forget to leave your blogs on the comments i always love going through them and making sure I follow!

Sugary Sweet Angora

Well well! Here's a sneak peak at my shorts, when I saw them, they reminded me of the s/s12 Chanel show far too much. I originally wanted a skirt but the shorts were just too cute! Not bad for £23 from Zara either!
I can't wait to wear them with bare legs in the summer ( or on holiday) but as the chill is still here, tights and a jumper it is!

I bought this jumper way before Christmas, however the slight metallic sheen isn't just for winter! It can be worn woth pretty much anything and It slides in perfectly with my spring/summer wardrobe! ( which consists of lots of sheeny things, blues, green and mint, got an underwater theme going on ATM) I love how soft and comfy it is, it's a lovely angora mix and at the time I got it half price online with a discount code!

This shirt i got a while ago, I wanted something sleeveless and I loved the colour! Plus it was a very reasonable 7.99, so I didn't really mind about the crappy viscose material ;). I customised the collar ( I have a thing for collars ATM) with some spikes which I have been meaning to utilise for a some time, originally I was going to add them to slippers/loafer shoes but never got found to finding the right pair ( at an okay price if I was going to stick spikes in them). So a spikey collar it is!

my full outfit:
Blue shirt: h&m with DIY spikes
Angora mix Jumper: h&m
Short shorts: Zara

How are you wearing metallics in the summer? I find them great to soften up with pastel/ light shades! Leave a comment below and let me know... Don't forget to leave your blogs and will pay them a visit as usual!
You have all been so kind in the comments lately! (don't stop ;) I appreciate you all visiting my blog so much!

Bitter morning

Dear English weather, wtf? We have had a stunning week then all of a sudden snow :/ when this photo was taken it was abso freezing and the has been my most drastic attempt at layering clothes yet. Also I have new pants, but try not to notice the pants, ( I don't want this post to be about the pants- ill do another one for them haha) infanct I have many new exciting beautiful lovely clothes ( and SHOES- such an amazing pair I got for my birthday off my bf still deserve a post all in themselves) also, this is my first post done completely from my iPad-yay!

However I think a few of them may wait till Cannes :D

Here's a photo of transitional dressing From the satorialist, I love the colours of different textures here, and tropical snake prints make me dream of summer, mmmm.
Now you can see my poor attempt at transitional dressing for basically winter weather, bringing in brights.

Yes I'm wearing a shirt, a jumper, a cardigan, and a trench.

I love the bright shade of this jumper, it's like a candy ice cream and is almost identical to the shade of my bag.

I like layer shirts under things, and seeing the collar, I need more shirts and things to layer them under, hehe.

These are the pants, like I say I'll do a proper post with them later, they are the most beautiful, comfortable soft leather pants from gestuz.

My outfit today
Shoes:topshop sale
Leather pants:gestuz
Printed shirt(under):vintage
Jumper:topshop sale
Cardigan: tkmaxx
Trench:tkmaxxx ( Calvin Klein)
Bag:mulberry

Depending on the weather, hopefully my next post can be a bright one, let's keep our fingers crossed,

I'm also after a hat for Cannes...mmm only about a month left to wait, don't forget to leave comments and I'll pay all your blogs a visit!

Be back soon,

Bright Start

It's march and currently 20 degrees, for north England this is amazing so best to make use of this early summer were having now because any money by July it will be pissing it down. I was inspired to try the midi length dress by this photograph on the satorialist, as soon as I saw this I wanted to re-reate the effortless effect it had, yes this is August last year, by that time english summer was well over but I never forgot that look, and when I came across a topshop number I snapped it up.

It was still winter when I bought this dress so I paired not with opaque tights and black ankle boots. Now I can finally release its summer potential ;). I'm wearing it with my ugg trainers I snapped up in the summer sales last year, and the most versatile ( and favourite atm) piece in my wardrobe, my calvin klein trench coat/dress, a pure bargain I picked up from tkmaxx last year for £40 ( I considered it an investment that really has payed off!)

I love these trainers they are so cute ^.^

My full outfit
Sunglasses: ray ban from eBay
Dress: topshop
Belt: hairband from topshop
Trainers: ugg
Trench/dress: Calvin Klein
Bag: asos

Soon I will do a post wearing this as a dress to show you how magic it really is! It is really easy to layer up, so much so I have just bought another summer jacket like this, although this one has no arms at all.

Hope your all enjoying this lovely weather just as much as I am, finally we can enjoy the sun... BARE LEGS.  Summer dressings is one of my favourite parts of fashion, i love being able to wear clothes to there full potential and be comfortable (without not freezing to death)

How do you wear midi lengths?

Please leave your pretty blogs in comments!

(wow two posts in two consecutive days- go me)

Black maxi

Weather is finally warming up, but this morning it was so foggy! I have been after a black maxi skirt for a while now, this is actually a dress, which is one sleeved, it was given to me by my ( very generous) friend! It's super tight and is made from nylon and getting dressed is basically like putting a pair of tights on all over your body!

I've layered it up here with a silk vintage shirt, given to me by my mam! I love the print on this shirt, it's like a really small leopard print and the colours go with anything summer or winter. It's buttons keep falling off so I usually fasten it to the top with my Vivienne Westwood pin badge.

The shoes you have seen before and the jacket is new from h&m and it's a lovely cropped little number for when you need to dress a bit cooler in the weather.

I just added a belt to give a bit of shape as the shirt is so loose and it ended up looking like an (unintentional) peplum top. Oh well, fine by me. I haven't tried the peplum trend yet and tbh I'm not sure if I will invest, have you?

My complete outfit
Dress as skirt: all saints
Shirt: vintage
Cropped blazer: hmm
Shoes: Melissa
Belt: asos

Let me know your thoughts on my look today, and if theres a different way you would wear something! As always leave your blogs as i will pay them a visit too!

Versace!

So here it (finally) is! My versace dress...
It has to be my most beautiful dress I have ever purchased <3 The first time I saw it back in October 2011 in Vogue, I knew I had to have it, The goregous Japanese print, (the fan is my favourite!)
I saw Marni and I was not impressed ( not enough to queue at half 5 in the morning anyways) So I gave that one a miss, I still stand by Versace's collaboration being the most exciting with hnm so far.. but that is probably cause I'm print crazy. ( As we already know)

The silk is super thick and it actually is a really warm dress! It looks a lot better minus tights (why do tights spoil everything? come on summer). This photos pretty old so it's looking a little frosty here ( which it isn't now- yay!)

One of the nice details about this dress is the back, its cut open which is beautiful! I love backless things and I think if i got a tattoo anywhere it would be either here or on my arm. :D

Im pretty sure you have seen this clutch before ( I'm after a new one, a big big clutch can use during the day (day time clutchs ftw)

My outft:
Dress: Versace for H&M
Clutch:ASOS
Shoes: Carvela

Just a short one today!

I have A trip to London & Cannes in May, so much to look forward too, exciting times!

Please leave your lovely blogs on your comments - Would love to see your purchase, and any London shopping tips!

Digital skirt

I'm back!

Aaaaand it's still winter in england >.< But hope comes in the form of acid bright jumpers and digital prints to bring a little bit of colour back into our lives. I love the length of this skirt, it's so easy, it should look a little longer but the wind messed it up (god it was windy)

As soon as I saw this skirt in Topshop I knew I had to have it, it's not often I find a print I'm that fond of that cheap. It reminds me slightly of the prints that come from Peter Pilotto and Matthew Williamson. What do you think?

My outfit:
Jesus, it's all from topshop,(minus the mulberry) the Jumper and shoes from the sale. (Oopsy) I forgot a decent part of my wardrobe actally comes from their sale then I go along saying how I hate how everyone buys from there and you all end up with the same thing!

Lets hope no one has this combo ;)

To finish on, Im searching for amazing affordable prints <3 Did i mention I love prints hahaha. Also. OMFG how did I not know about this Mary Katranzou dress its surely one to rival my Versace perchase? (Which I haven't even done a post on but here it is

That reminds me- I'll do my next post on that :)

So post a good few designers who have amazing prints if you know any, the more unusual the better! ( I found an amazing guy called Yosef Perez- Israel designer)
The usual with comments- leave all your lovely blogs I'll pay them a visit ^.^
Untill then!
